Es Torrent is a small, peaceful cove on Ibiza’s beautiful south-west coast, close to Es Cubells, Porroig and Cala Jondal. With clear Mediterranean water, a pebble and shingle beach and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, it is an excellent choice for visitors looking to escape Ibiza’s busier beaches.
Es Torrent Beach
Platja d'Es Torrent is relatively secluded and has remained largely free from commercial development. The beach is surrounded by attractive coastline, with views towards Vista Alegre and the neighbouring headland.
The clear water makes Es Torrent particularly appealing for swimming, while sun loungers are available for those planning to spend a leisurely day beside the sea.
There is a small free parking area close to the beach, although spaces can be limited during the busy summer months.
Restaurants in and around Es Torrent
One of the highlights of visiting Es Torrent is lunch beside the Mediterranean.
The beach is home to Es Torrent Restaurant, a long-established seafood restaurant specialising in fresh fish, shellfish and traditional Mediterranean and Ibizan cooking. Its waterfront location makes it an ideal choice for a long lunch after a morning on the beach.
There are also several excellent restaurants within easy driving distance.
Head towards Cala Jondal for Tropicana Ibiza, where Mediterranean dishes and seafood are served beside one of south-west Ibiza's best-known beaches.
Alternatively, travel towards Es Cubells and Ses Boques for another beautiful coastal setting and Mediterranean dining.
For a greater choice, Sant Josep (San José) has numerous restaurants and cafés and is easily reached by car from Es Torrent.

Es Torrent is a particularly attractive base if you want to experience the quieter side of Ibiza while remaining within easy reach of Cala Jondal, Es Cubells, Porroig, Sant Josep and Ibiza Town.
