Cala Molí Beach, West Ibiza

Cala Molí is a small, peaceful cove on Ibiza’s beautiful west coast, situated between the popular beaches of Cala Tarida and Cala Vadella. Quieter than many of Ibiza’s larger beaches, Cala Molí is a lovely choice if you are looking for clear Mediterranean water, swimming, snorkelling and a relaxed day by the sea.

Cala Molí Beach

The beach is approximately 70 metres long and is predominantly pebbly rather than sandy. The water is wonderfully clear and particularly inviting for swimming and snorkelling. Because of the pebbles and rocky seabed, beach or water shoes can make getting in and out of the sea considerably easier.

Cala Molí’s relatively secluded setting gives it a peaceful atmosphere, while its west-coast location makes it a beautiful place to enjoy the Mediterranean scenery.

There is free parking close to the beach, although spaces are limited, particularly during the busy summer months. Arriving earlier in the day is therefore advisable during July and August.

Restaurants in and around Cala Molí

For dining right beside Cala Molí, El Silencio Ibiza combines a restaurant and beach-club setting overlooking the Mediterranean. It is an excellent option for turning a visit to the cove into a leisurely lunch or afternoon by the sea.

There are also several good restaurants within a short drive. Head north towards Cala Tarida for Mediterranean dining at Ca’s Milà and Ses Eufàbies, both close to the beach. Alternatively, drive south to Cala Vadella, where you will find a wider selection of restaurants around the bay, including Cana Sofia.

With Cala Tarida and Cala Vadella nearby, it is easy to combine a peaceful morning at Cala Molí with lunch or dinner at one of Ibiza’s popular west-coast restaurants.
