Es Cavallet beach (Playa des Cavallet / Platja des Cavallet) is located around the bay from Ses Salinas and also part of Las Salinas nature reserve. Like Salinas the sand is beautiful and the waters are a beautiful mix of crystal clear with blue & green for most of the year. There is a safe beach for swimming, although you do need, like any beach, to be aware of the currents. There is a lifeguard on duty in the main summer months.
There are 3 beach restaurants: at one end is Chiringay, popular with the LGBT community, and at the other end are El Chiringuito, a renowned sea front seafood restaurant, & also Restaurante La Escollera. This is a clothing optional beach.
Free parking is limited, with even more limited paid for parking next to El Chiringuito & La Escollera.
