Figueretas Beach (Platja de Ses Figueretes) is a popular sandy beach on the southern edge of Ibiza Town, conveniently positioned between the town centre and Playa d’en Bossa. With a relaxed seafront promenade, plenty of places to eat and drink and easy access to Ibiza’s main attractions, it is a great choice for couples, families and anyone staying close to Ibiza Town.
About Figueretas Beach
The beach is made up of attractive stretches of sand overlooking the Mediterranean, with a pedestrianised promenade running alongside the waterfront. Figueretas has a more relaxed, local atmosphere than neighbouring Playa d’en Bossa, while still offering plenty of amenities within walking distance.
One of its biggest advantages is location. Ibiza Town and the historic streets of Dalt Vila can be reached on foot in around 20 minutes, making Figueretas an excellent beach to combine with sightseeing, shopping or lunch in town.
During the summer months, boat services also operate from Figueretas, with connections including Ibiza Town, Playa d’en Bossa and Formentera.
Restaurants in Figueretas
The seafront promenade has a good selection of restaurants, cafés and bars, making it easy to spend the entire day around the beach.
Popular choices include Cremat Beach Ibiza for relaxed dining beside the waterfront, Little Ibiza Restaurant and Bar, and Fusion Ibiza on the Figueretas seafront.
Other options include Oli Beach Restaurant and Restaurant Blavós. Whether you are looking for breakfast overlooking the sea, a casual lunch after the beach or dinner and drinks in the evening, Figueretas offers plenty of choice within a relatively compact area.

Figueretas is particularly appealing if you want a beach close to Ibiza Town without travelling across the island. You can enjoy a morning beside the sea, walk into Dalt Vila later in the day or continue along the coast towards Playa d’en Bossa.
