Cala Gracio Beach, Ibiza

Cala Gracio (Cala Gració) is a beautiful sandy cove on Ibiza’s west coast, just north of San Antonio. Sheltered by rocky headlands and surrounded by pine and juniper trees, it combines clear Mediterranean water with a relaxed atmosphere while remaining within easy reach of one of Ibiza’s liveliest resorts.

A Family-Friendly Ibiza Beach

Cala Gracio is particularly popular with families thanks to its sheltered position and generally calm, shallow water. The sandy beach extends back from the shoreline, providing more space than you might expect from a small Ibiza cove.

During the summer months there is a lifeguard service, while accessible entry makes the beach easier to reach with wheelchairs and pushchairs. Sun loungers are also available seasonally.

The clear water and rocky edges of the bay make Cala Gracio a lovely place for swimming and snorkelling. Bring a mask and explore around the sides of the cove, where the rocky Mediterranean coastline provides plenty to see beneath the surface.

Cala Gracio Restaurants & Cala Gracioneta

Refreshments and food are available close to the beach, making it easy to spend several hours here.

One of the highlights of visiting Cala Gracio is the short coastal walk to neighbouring Cala Gracioneta. This tiny sandy cove sits just around the headland and is well worth discovering while you are in the area.

Getting to Cala Gracio

Cala Gracio is around 2km north of central San Antonio and can be reached by car, bus or on foot. Boat services from San Antonio may also operate seasonally.

Parking close to the beach is limited, particularly during July and August, so arriving earlier in the day is recommended if you are driving.
