Cap des Falcó Beach, Ibiza

Cap des Falcó is a secluded pebbly beach on the south-west coast of Ibiza, close to Ses Salines, Es Cavallet and the salt flats of the Ses Salines Natural Park. Surrounded by rugged coastline and open Mediterranean views, it is particularly well known for its spectacular Ibiza sunsets.

Unlike the long sandy beaches of nearby Ses Salines and Es Cavallet, Cap des Falcó has a wilder, more natural feel. The rocky and pebbly shoreline makes it a lovely place to escape the busier beaches of southern Ibiza, relax beside the sea and stay for sunset.

Experimental Beach Ibiza

One of the main reasons to visit Cap des Falcó is Experimental Beach Ibiza, a stylish beach restaurant and cocktail bar set directly on the shoreline.

Experimental Beach is ideal for a leisurely Mediterranean lunch, afternoon drinks or dinner as the sun goes down. The emphasis is on Mediterranean-inspired food, cocktails and relaxed Ibiza beach-club surroundings.

Sunbeds are also available, making it possible to spend much of the day here before settling in for cocktails and sunset. Reservations are recommended during the busy summer months.

Es Cavallet is home to popular beach restaurants including El Chiringuito, La Escollera and Chiringay. El Chiringuito is known for stylish beachfront lunches, while La Escollera is a good choice for Mediterranean dishes, seafood and paella.

Nearby Ses Salines is another excellent destination for a long beach lunch, while Playa d'en Bossa offers an even wider choice of restaurants, beach clubs and bars.

Sunset at Cap des Falcó

Cap des Falcó is especially beautiful in the late afternoon. Its west-facing position provides wonderful sunset views across the Mediterranean, making it an excellent choice for couples, families and groups looking for a memorable end to a day exploring southern Ibiza.

The beach is reached by road and parking is available in the area. As the shoreline is predominantly pebbles and rocks, beach shoes can be useful if you plan to swim.
