Cala Tarida is a long 900m sandy beach on the
west coast of Ibiza. The small neighbouring coves are Cala Coral
& Cala Llentia, and the larger beaches neighbouring Cala Tarida
on either side are Cala Codolar &
Cala Tarida is popular family resort with a large number of beach front restaurants including Cotton Beach Club which is also a popular wedding venue. Cala Tarida has quite a few beachfront hotels so you can expect the beach to get busy in high season
The best thing about Cala Tarida? Well apart from the long sandy beach, watersports, swimming & snorkeling...it has to be the sunset.. as with many west Ibiza beaches just make sure you stay on the beach long enough (or go back to your villa and then return to the beach) to watch the sunset (around 9.30pm in June, 9pm in July & 8.30pm in August).
Many boats moor just off the coast creating a picture postcard setting particularly as the sun goes down. Take the regular water taxi / ferry around the bay to San Antonio, or over to neighbouring island Formentera (available in peak season).
Cala Moli is a small pebbly beach with a beach
front restaurant and is quieter than Cala
Renting a villa in the Cala Tarida or Cala Moli area means you are close to great beaches & restaurants, 10 to 15 minutes from the village of San Jose (Sant Josep) and about 20 to 25 minutes to Ibiza Town
