Cala Llonga is a pretty seaside resort set in a secluded bay with a backdrop of pine trees. The sandy beach and shallow bay with safe swimming area is popular with families looking for a relaxing stay in Ibiza. The views from the beach, or from the cliffs to the bay, with the boats bobbing on the water is a classic picture postcard scene
The beach is 200 metres long and, although there are a couple of large hotels on either side of the cove, the resort retains a small & friendly atmosphere
One of the neighbouring bays from Cala Llonga is Sol d'en Serra, home to Amante Beach Club.
Why not take the water taxi or one of the regular small ferries that run to Santa Eulalia, Formentera, Es Canar (weekly hippy market) & Ibiza Town. By car you can reach Ibiza Town in about 20 minutes (10 kilometres).
The Ibiza villa we feature in Cala Llonga is only 1.3 kilometres to the beach and is also close to the only golf course on the island. In the summer months from late June to early October there is also a small hippy market with music from 6pm. The patron Saints day for Cala Llonga is August 15th so you can expect some additional festivities to be taking place to celebrate the day
