OVERVIEW

Villa Cigala is a traditional finca situated about 1 kilometre to the village of Santa Gertrudis de Fruitera, 
Parts of the original house dates back about 600 years

The villa has a living space of 500 m2 and a plot of 10,000 m2

There are 6 bedrooms & 6 bathrooms (4 en suite)
4 bedrooms are situated in the main house, with 2 further bedrooms located in a separate building next to the main house

Parts of the original finca are believed to be between 500 to 600 years old and the house oozes charm with many original features  

Main house

Master bedroom located in the first floor with double bed (180 cms x 190 cms), air conditioning, en suite bathroom, living room and private terrace. Traditional features including Sabina wood ceiling
This bedroom can sleep 3 people on request. Room size of 45 m2

Bedroom on the ground floor (2 steps to the room) with twin beds and fan. Traditional Sabina wood ceiling; views to the gardens with olive trees.
This room is 29 m2

LOCATION

Villa Cigala is only about 1 kilometre to the centre of the village of Santa Gertrudis, which you can walk to, although please be aware you do need to cross the road that runs between Ibiza Town and San Miguel (Sant Miquel de Balansat) village and this road is relatively close to the villa

Santa Gertrudis is a lovely village with traditional church square, tapas bars and restaurants, but also with many contemporary restaurants and boutique shops

The villa is not only perfectly located for the village but you are pretty much located in the middle of the island with the centre of Ibiza Town only 11 kilometres away to the south and to the north you have San Miguel (Sant Miquel de Balansat) and San Juan (Sant Joan de Labritja) which are also both traditional villages; on a Sunday in San Juan there is a weekly "hippy" market,

The location allows you travel around the island easily and discover the different areas that make Ibiza such a unique holiday destination

To the east is the resort of Santa Eulalia is only 10 kilometres away for restaurants, shops and beach
For beaches you can decide to head to beaches in the west including Cala Salada, Cala Gracio and San Antonio, to the south for Talamanca, to the east for Santa Eulalia, Cala Llonga, Playa Es Niu Blau and many other beaches spread along the east coast; and to the north for Benirras

There is a supermarket in Santa Gertrudis
Close to the villa is a quirky store/bar/restaurant called Sluiz which is worth a visit

You may hear some noise from the nearby road, but there is no noise when inside the house. However as you have no immediate neighbours then some gentle background music will more than eliminate any noise. The plus side is that road network means that you can get to the most points of the island in no more than 20 minutes, and of course to Santa Gertrudis village in just a few minutes.

Lovely historic villa, very close to Santa Gertrudis village; ideal for couples and family holidays and also available for weddings and events. Please be aware you will hear some noise from the road that links Ibiza Town and San Miguel

ARRIVAL PROCESS & KEY COLLECTION
We will confirm arrival details a few weeks before arrival
Where possible you will be met at the villa
Alternatively you may be able to go by yourself and we will send you directions to the villa and a keycode 
Alternatively, keys will be collected from the office in Ibiza Town (Next to Ibiza Gran Hotel).
If you are arriving outside of office hours (until 19:30) the following late arrival charges will apply:
- From 19:30 to 22:00 €60
- After 22:00 €100
Payment in cash on arrival please
Please advise us if the rental client named on the booking will not be arriving first & collecting the keys

Approx. 4 weeks before you arrive we will send you an online check-in form to speed up the process on arrival and get you relaxing around the pool that little bit quicker

CHECK-IN/OUT TIME
Check-in time from 15:00 / Check-out time on departure by 10:00 (am)
In the main summer months it is highly unlikely that an early check-in or late check-out will be possible as the villa will need to be fully cleaned in preparation for your arrival

In the quieter months it may be possible to arrange an early check-in or late check-out but we won't be able to confirm this until about 24 hours before just in case there is a very late booking either side of your stay.
