Cala Conta / Cala Compte beach Ibiza

Cala Conta (and also known as Cala Conte, Cala Compte, Playa de Comte & Platja de Comte) is a beach on the west coast of Ibiza between Cala Bassa & Cala Codolar.

Not a particularly large beach at 800 meters long and between 30 to 50 meters wide but popular particularly for the spectacular sunsets in the summer, and home to the bar / restaurant of Sunset Ashram, and the nearby Restaurante S'illa des Bosc & Ses Roques Restaurante.

It's fair to say that in the peak months there isn't a lot of space on the beach so be prepared but parking is relatively straight forward if you arrive early enough either for a day at the beach or early enough to experience an unforgettable sunset. There is a regular bus service that also runs daily in the main summer months. In addition, there is a ferry service that runs from San Antonio if you don't need the hassle of finding a parking space.

Late afternoon you will see the stand-up paddle boarders making their way around the nearby islands of Illa des Bosc & Illa Sa Conillera for an even more spectacular views of the sunset from the sea.

Enjoy the beautiful crystal clear turquoise waters which are ideal for snorkeling & swimming but please be aware that the current can be strong & deceptive.

Cala Conte is a "must do" during your stay in Ibiza.
