Cala Gracioneta Beach, Ibiza

Cala Gracioneta is a tiny, picturesque beach on Ibiza’s west coast, tucked away beside the larger Cala Gració and just outside San Antonio (Sant Antoni de Portmany). At only around 30 metres long, this sheltered sandy cove is one of the smallest beaches in Ibiza, but its clear turquoise water, pine-covered surroundings and relaxed atmosphere make it well worth discovering.

The Beach

Cala Gracioneta has soft golden sand and beautifully clear, shallow water. Rocky headlands shelter the bay, helping to create calm conditions for swimming and making the rocks around the cove a good place for snorkelling.

Because the beach is so small, space on the sand is limited, particularly during July and August. If you want to spend a full day here during the summer, arriving early is recommended.

The neighbouring beach of Cala Gració is only a short walk away via a coastal path, so it is easy to visit both coves on the same day.

Cala Gracioneta Restaurant

One of the highlights of the beach is Restaurante Cala Gracioneta, positioned directly behind the sand.

The restaurant specialises in Mediterranean cuisine, with fresh fish, seafood, grilled meats and rice dishes among its specialities. Its terraces overlook the cove, making it an attractive choice for a leisurely lunch or dinner by the sea.

Restaurant parking is available for customers, subject to availability, and booking ahead is advisable during the busy summer months.

Getting to Cala Gracioneta

Cala Gracioneta is approximately 2 km from the centre of San Antonio. You can reach the area by car, bus or on foot from the town.

Another pleasant option is to head to Cala Gració first and follow the short coastal path around the headland to Cala Gracioneta. Parking in the immediate area can be limited during the summer, so allow extra time if you are driving.
