Book Your Ibiza Villa With Confidence

Unique Ibiza Villas is a UK registered business (company registration number 07894858). Our aim is to help you find the right villa and have a great stay in Ibiza

However there are villa rental companies operating in and to Ibiza who cannot be trusted. These "pirates" advertise villas that they have no access to. They probably have a website but they are not legal or registered.  They may advertise a villa knowing they don't have access to it and try to switch you to another villa. Or they will take a booking from you even though the villa is not booked with the villa owner. And some companies have been known to take money for a villa they have no intention of renting to you.

The obvious advice is to book with a reputable company and avoid the scam websites.

So how do you book with a reputable company? There are some simple steps that will help.

Legal Villas
All legal villas will have a touristic licence. We only rent villas which are legal and comply with a local health and safety regulations

Email address:
Avoid any company that operates without a professional email address such as Hotmail, gmail, yahoo etc. If these companies are professional then they will have a valid email address.

Phone number:
Professional companies don't just operate with only a mobile phone number. Look for a landline number which can be traced

Registered Business:
Check that that the company is registered. Unique Ibiza Villas is a trading name of Unique Ibiza Limited who are registered via Companies House in the UK. Our registration number is 07894858

You can verify the business (Unique Ibiza Limited) & company directors via Companies House website:

Genuine Customer Reviews
Look for genuine customer reviews. We use independent review websites to collate honest & genuine customer reviews

Payment:
No genuine villa owner or company will restrict how you can make payment. Beware of anyone asking for payment via bank transfer. A good company will allow you to pay by debit or credit card. Personally we recommend you pay via credit card as most credit card companies will offer you some form of payment protection. Please check with your credit card company for details. We recommend paying with a credit card - under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act all credit card payments are protected for payments of more than £100 and less than €30,000

No reputable or trustworthy villa rental business should be accepting payment by cash. If you are being asked for a cash payment then alarm bells should be ringing.

Research:
A quick search online at various travel forums will highlight some horror stories and will also give names of people who, unfortunately, have let customers down and continue to operate on the island.

Of course we would like you book your villa with us, but whoever you book with then please follow these steps to avoid being caught out.

Payments are made in Euros
Currency conversion provided is for indication purposes. If you are not paying in Euros then the exchange rate used will depend on your bank/ credit card provider at the time of the transaction for the deposit & balance payments
