San Agustin Exclusive - 6 Bedrooms
A charming Mediterranean villa with beautiful gardens, generous outdoor living spaces and an excellent location for discovering Ibiza’s celebrated west coast.
San Agustin Exclusive enjoys a wonderfully convenient position between the peaceful village of San Agustín and the beaches of Ibiza’s west coast. The clear turquoise waters and golden sands of Cala Bassa and Cala Conta are only a short drive away, while the sheltered bay of Port d’es Torrent is close enough to reach on foot.
Combining traditional Ibizan character with plenty of space for outdoor living, the villa is particularly well suited to families, couples and groups of friends looking for a relaxed island home within easy reach of beaches, restaurants, villages and nightlife.
Despite its convenient location, the house feels remarkably private. Whitewashed buildings sit amongst mature Mediterranean gardens filled with palms, pine trees and colourful planting, while lawns, terraces and shaded corners create numerous places to relax throughout the day.
Outdoor Living & Pool
Life at San Agustin Exclusive naturally gravitates towards the gardens and swimming pool.
At the heart of the grounds is a 10m x 5m swimming pool, which can be heated for an additional charge. Wide terraces surround the pool, with plenty of space for sunbathing and a large daybed where guests can stretch out beneath the Ibiza sunshine.
Mature planting gives the pool area a secluded feel, while the villa’s various outdoor spaces mean guests can easily find either sunshine or shade as the day progresses.
A shaded courtyard beneath a tall pine tree provides another inviting place to sit with a drink, read or spend long afternoons talking with friends while someone prepares lunch or dinner on the barbecue.
Families have plenty of room to spread out, with grassy lawns where younger guests can play and a small fish pond adding further character to the gardens.
Outdoor Dining & Terraces
One of the villa’s greatest attractions is the amount of outdoor living space available.
Beside the pool, a pretty pergola wrapped in pink bougainvillea shelters an intimate dining table for six – an idyllic spot for breakfast, a relaxed lunch or an early evening meal.
For larger gatherings, a second covered terrace provides outdoor dining for up to twelve guests. Traditional wooden rafters create welcome shade from the midday sun, while comfortable outdoor sofas make this an easy place to move from lunch into a long, leisurely afternoon.
The terraces connect naturally with the house, allowing indoor and outdoor spaces to become one large living area during Ibiza’s warmer months.
Living Areas
Inside, the villa retains a relaxed Mediterranean character.
The main living room is bright and welcoming, with creamy white walls, comfortable sofas and traditional terracotta tiled floors. A fireplace creates a cosy focal point for stays during Ibiza’s cooler spring and autumn evenings.
High above the living space, a mezzanine level is home to a grand piano, adding an unexpected touch of character to the room.
Large openings connect the living areas with the covered terrace outside, so the house remains wonderfully connected to the gardens throughout the day.
Kitchen
The spacious kitchen is bright, practical and designed for sociable holiday living.
It is well equipped for preparing everything from simple breakfasts and beach picnics to relaxed dinners at home, while a large rustic dining table creates an informal place for guests to gather over coffee or food.
Sliding glass doors can be opened completely onto a pretty courtyard, filling the kitchen with natural light and fresh air and reinforcing the villa’s easy indoor-outdoor atmosphere.
The courtyard also provides access to the laundry facilities and gym.
Private Gym & Bicycles
Guests who want to maintain their fitness routine during their stay have the convenience of a private gym at the villa.
Equipment includes yoga mats, free weights, a cross trainer and a multi-station exercise machine, giving guests a useful choice of cardio, strength and stretching options.
The villa also has three bicycles available for guests to use, ideal for exploring the immediate neighbourhood or heading out for an early morning ride before the heat of the day.
Bedrooms
The bedrooms continue the villa’s understated Mediterranean style, combining white linens with rustic timber, traditional terracotta floors and natural textures.
Rooms are spacious and calming, creating comfortable retreats after days spent exploring Ibiza’s beaches or evenings enjoying the island’s restaurants and nightlife.
The master suite is particularly inviting, with its own fireplace and direct access to a sunny private terrace – a peaceful place for a quiet morning coffee before the rest of the house wakes.
An Excellent Base for Ibiza's West Coast
Location is one of the great advantages of staying at San Agustin Exclusive.
Guests can spend their mornings beside the pool, head to one of Ibiza’s best-known beaches for lunch, watch the sunset over the Mediterranean and return home within minutes.
Everyday essentials are equally convenient. The well-known Es Cucó supermarket is approximately 300 metres from the villa, making it particularly easy to stock the kitchen with fresh produce, bakery items, drinks, meat, local products and everything needed for a day at the beach.
At the same time, San Antonio and its extensive choice of restaurants, bars and entertainment are easily accessible, while Ibiza Town and Playa d’en Bossa can be reached by car for evenings further afield.
San Agustín
Nearby San Agustín des Vedrà is one of the west coast’s prettiest traditional villages. Small, peaceful and surrounded by countryside, it offers a very different atmosphere from Ibiza’s larger resorts.
The whitewashed church and traditional village architecture give San Agustín a timeless feel, and the area has become known for a small but appealing collection of restaurants.
It is a lovely choice for an evening closer to home – arrive before dinner, take a stroll around the village and settle in for a relaxed meal beneath the stars.
San José
A little further south is Sant Josep de sa Talaia – usually known simply as San José.
This attractive village is the administrative heart of Ibiza’s southwest and is well worth visiting in its own right. Its main street and surrounding lanes offer cafés, restaurants, shops and useful everyday services, while the surrounding countryside provides a distinctly more traditional side of Ibiza.
San José is particularly good for an unhurried evening away from the busier coastal resorts, with restaurants ranging from casual village favourites to contemporary Mediterranean and international dining.
Port d'es Torrent
For an easy beach day close to the villa, Port d’es Torrent is an excellent option.
Its broad sandy beach sits within a sheltered inlet, resulting in generally calm, shallow water that makes the bay particularly popular with families. Rocky areas around the edges of the cove are also good for snorkelling.
Restaurants and beach venues around the bay mean it is easy to arrive in the morning and remain until sunset, stopping for lunch or drinks without having to leave the beach.
It is also a pleasant option for an evening close to home, particularly when you would rather enjoy dinner beside the sea than drive further around the island.
Cala Bassa
Approximately a five-minute drive away, Cala Bassa is one of Ibiza’s best-known west-coast beaches.
The combination of pale sand, remarkably clear water and mature juniper and pine trees creates a beautiful natural setting. The protected bay is excellent for swimming, and its clear water makes it equally appealing for snorkelling.
A major attraction here is Cala Bassa Beach Club (CBbC), which extends along the beach and offers several different dining styles, including Mediterranean food, seafood, sushi, rice dishes and Italian cuisine.
Cala Bassa works equally well for a quick morning swim or an entire day beside the sea – arrive early, settle into the beach, stop for a long lunch and stay into the afternoon.
Cala Conta
Another west-coast highlight within easy reach is Cala Conta, also known as Platges de Comte.
Famous for extraordinarily clear blue water and views across the small islands offshore, this is one of Ibiza’s classic swimming and sunset destinations.
The coastline here is divided into several sandy and rocky sections, giving visitors a choice of places to swim, snorkel and sunbathe.
Cala Conta is particularly memorable towards the end of the day. Facing west across the Mediterranean, it provides a wonderful natural viewpoint as the sun drops towards the horizon.
Restaurants overlooking the sea make it easy to turn an afternoon on the beach into sunset drinks and dinner. Sunset Ashram/Sunset Cala Conta is especially well known for combining Mediterranean, Asian and Indian-influenced food with cocktails, music and sunset views.
Cala Tarida & Cala Molí
Continue along the southwest coast and you will reach Cala Tarida, another excellent choice for a full beach day. The bay offers beautiful blue water and a good choice of places to eat and drink.
Nearby Cala Molí provides a contrasting experience. Smaller and more understated, it is a good choice when you want to explore beyond Ibiza’s most famous beaches.
Having several very different coves within a relatively small stretch of coastline is one of the pleasures of staying in this part of the island – guests can choose a different beach almost every day without spending hours in the car.
Beach Restaurants & Sunset Dining
Ibiza’s west coast is particularly good for combining a day beside the sea with a memorable lunch or sunset dinner.
At Cala Bassa, CBbC Cala Bassa offers beachside dining throughout the day, making it easy to move between swimming, sunbathing and a leisurely Mediterranean lunch.
Around Cala Conta, sunset is part of the experience. Restaurants and bars overlooking the sea provide front-row views as the sky changes colour above the Mediterranean.
Closer to San Antonio, tiny Cala Gracioneta is another atmospheric option. Its beach restaurant sits directly above a beautiful little cove and specialises in Mediterranean cooking, fish, seafood, grilled dishes and rice dishes.
Port d’es Torrent also offers several easy-going options directly beside the water, making it especially convenient when you want a relaxed beach lunch or sunset dinner without travelling far from the villa.
Advance reservations are recommended for Ibiza’s most popular beach restaurants, particularly during July and August and for tables around sunset.
Restaurants Near the Villa
Guests do not have to travel to the coast for good food.
The San Agustín and San José area has developed an excellent reputation for dining, with choices ranging from simple local restaurants to contemporary Mediterranean cooking and international cuisine.
For an atmospheric dinner, Sa Capella, close to San Antonio, occupies a remarkable former chapel and focuses primarily on Mediterranean cooking, grilled meats and fish.
Closer to San Agustín, the surrounding countryside and village offer several appealing options for a relaxed dinner away from the island’s larger resorts.
Even Es Cucó, best known locally as a landmark supermarket, has a casual restaurant renowned for traditional rotisserie chicken and straightforward Spanish cooking – useful for an easy lunch or informal meal close to home.
San Antonio, Sunset & Nightlife
San Antonio is within easy reach of the villa, giving guests access to one of Ibiza’s liveliest concentrations of restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment.
Its famous Sunset Strip remains one of the island’s best-known places to watch the evening unfold. Arrive before sunset for drinks overlooking the sea, stay for dinner and watch the atmosphere gradually become livelier as night falls.
The town also provides a marina, waterfront promenade and an enormous variety of casual and international dining options.
For daytime entertainment, O Beach Ibiza is approximately 4.6km from the villa and is known for its pool parties, DJs and live entertainment.
The legendary Pikes Ibiza, in the hills outside San Antonio, provides a very different kind of night out, combining dining, cocktails, DJs and its famously individual house-party atmosphere.
Guests looking for the island’s larger clubs can easily travel further afield. UNVRS is approximately 16.2km away, while Hï Ibiza and Ushuaïa in Playa d’en Bossa are approximately 20.1km away. Pacha, close to Ibiza Town and Marina Botafoch, is approximately 23.9km from the villa.
This makes San Agustin Exclusive a particularly versatile base: peaceful enough for relaxed days around the pool and family time in the gardens, yet well positioned when guests want to experience Ibiza’s restaurants, sunset bars and nightlife.
