OVERVIEW
Villa Marlis is situated to the west of Ibiza close to Cala Bassa and San Agustin (Sant Agusti) and close to the larger village of San Jose (Sant Josep de sa Talaia) and the beaches of San Antonio Bay, Port des Torrent, Cala Comte (Cala Conta) and Cala Codolar
The elevated position means you have a great sea view towards the headland at Cala Salada; and most of the year you will get an excellent sunset view
The villa is set in a quiet area surrounded by trees
There are 4 bedrooms; all with air conditioning
On the first floor is the large master bedroom with double bed,
air conditioning, en suite bathroom and a large terrace with the
best views to the sea and headland
The doors to the terrace can remain closed if you prefer (the wall
height is approx 1 metre)
Also on the ground floor is a second living area area / reading
room / office
The remaining bedrooms are all on the ground floor
All have twin beds but can be pushed together
Bedroom 2 with twin beds, air conditioning and en suite bathroom
with shower
Bedroom 3 with twin beds and air conditioning
Bedroom 4 with twin beds and air conditioning
Bedrooms 3 & 4 share a Jack and Jill bathroom with shower

Villa Marlis is close to San Agustin (Sant Agusti) village (2.5 kilometres) and west coast beaches (2.5 kilometres). The larger village of San Jose (Sant Josep) is 6.4 kilometres and the large resort of San Antonio is 7 kilometres
The nearest small supermarket is Es Cuco, 900 metres away
Nearby beaches:
Port des Torrent is 2.5 kilometres another sandy beach and beach
restaurant (Alma Beach Ibiza); good for sunsets
There is a good choice of restaurants in Port des Torrent
Cala Bassa is 4.5 kilometres
Home to a lovely golden sandy beach with crystal clear waters and
views across the bay to the headland of Cala Salada; and where you
will find Cala Bass Beach Club
Cala Comte (Conta) is 6 kilometres away; popular by day but especially busy for sunset
San Antonio Bay is about 7 kilometres away; and where you will find O Beach, Linekers and further around the bay Café Mambo and Café del Mar; some of the most popular sunset venues in Ibiza
Cala Tarida is 11 kilometres way and has a long sandy beach with a mix of restaurants ranging from traditional to more contemporary such as Cotton Beach Club
Close to the villa you have a number of other smaller beaches to explore which include Cala de Bou and S'Estanyol
And within a 15 to 20 minute drive you can explore more beaches along the west coast from small coves with traditional seafood & Paella restaurants, to larger beaches, bars and restaurants

WHAT WE THINK
This villa has such a lovely feel
You are only a few hundred metres along a small track but we felt
like we were in a small forest with the most spectacular sea view
by day and a beautiful orange sky at sunset
The master bedroom is huge with a well equipped built in wardrobes (you won't bring enough shoes to even come anywhere close to filling up the shoe closet)
If you don't stay at the villa for sunset the you have a couple of good options nearby; head to Cala Conta (Comte) and sit on the beach or go to Cafe Mambo and Cafe del Mar in San Antonio
It's a great villa for friends, couples and families

ARRIVAL PROCESS &
KEY COLLECTION
We will confirm arrival details a few weeks before
arrival
Where possible you will be met at the villa
Alternatively you may be able to go by yourself and we will send
you directions to the villa and a keycode
Alternatively, keys will be collected from the office in Ibiza
Town (Next to Ibiza Gran Hotel).
If you are arriving outside of office hours (until 19:30) the
following late arrival charges will apply:
- From 19:30 to 22:00 €60
- After 22:00 €100
Payment in cash on arrival please
Please advise us if the rental client named on the booking will
not be arriving first & collecting the keys
Approx. 4 weeks before you arrive we will send you an online
check-in form to speed up the process on arrival and get you
relaxing around the pool that little bit quicker

TIME
Check-in time from 15:00 / Check-out time on departure by
10:00 (am)
In the main summer months it is highly unlikely that an early
check-in or late check-out will be possible as the villa will need
to be fully cleaned in preparation for your arrival
In the quieter months it may be possible to arrange an early check-in or late check-out but we won't be able to confirm this until about 24 hours before just in case there is a very late booking either side of your stay.
